I love your reviews on makeup, I learn so much! So, I was wondering, since you're talking about makeup brushes in general today, if you could answer a question for me?
What kind of eyeliner brush would you recommend for a gel eyeliner? I've got the Revlon purple gel liner, but it's brush is crap. I've been using an eyeliner brush from Bed, Bath, and Beyond that I picked up as part of a travel set. It kind of does the job, but it's not quite stiff enough to give a nice fine line for the bottom of my eye. Any suggestions for a poor graduate student?
um. Eyeliner is the one thing I know very little about; I don't use it often because I'm all thumbs. However. The typical brush for eyeliner looks something like this, l think, and this may be a good bet. Sephora brushes are decent quality. They also have this one and this one, and since I don't know what your current brush looks like any one of these might do the job? I don't know if EcoTools has an eyeliner brush specifically; I know they have an eye *kit* but I don't know how good its brushes are. Sonia Kashuk has one, I think, and Real Techniques probably has some - I went with Sephora examples because they were easier to find. It basically depends on the kind of brush you want. I've heard the angled liner brush is the best for gel but I don't know if that's right because all my eyeliners are pencil or liquid. :(
