Have any of you crazy little people that live inside my computer ever come across white cargo pants? I don't mean the girly capri silky ones that you find at Bebe or whatever, but honest to goodness white BDUs? Teh Interwebz, they do not help.

Hmmm, real white BDUs. I don't think I've seen them. You could probably get good results bleaching the color out of a tan or olive pair and replacing the buttons, though. I might be inclined to ask a professional or at least a skilled amateur costumer to do it if you're intending to wear them for a special occasion, though.

Looks like Propper makes a pale grey that's maybe even close enough to white for your purposes: http://www.vtarmynavy.com/grey-propper-bdu-pants-6535.htm

If not, I'd just buy one of the lighter 100% cotton colors and experiment.

So your talking about White BDUs? The problem with this is white BDUs would be used in colder climates therefore they are going to be off wool or some other material specifically meant for snowy regions. I did come across white cargo/military shorts but no pants.

Kimuchi's idea is a good one except for one problem, thread. Most thread is not 100% cotton instead it is mixed with rayon which does not take dying very easily unless you use a specific type of dye for synthetic material. You can find quality dye at http://www.dharmatrading.com/ I need to order some black dye to redo some of my pants which are fading. If you want to order anything let me know maybe we can put one together and save on shipping.
