Another night, one more night, you realised.
You watched his bare back, fingertips touching the smooth pale skin he inherited beautifully. You felt him stirred in his sleep, shifting his back just so he could have his eyes on yours, and you could have your eyes on his own beautiful, beautiful eyes.
You’re not asleep. You stated, never asked.
He just smiled, and you thought you could hear laughter in his voice.
Min. You smiled, humming a bitter sound to the familiar name he called for you. A longing, much of love call from him, all over again. Min, Min, Min.
Yes. You said, tears formed, burning behind your eyes. You cried. He made you cried again. Yes.
I love you. He said those words again like he did before. You just smiled your tears, silencing them in the darkness that bounded both of you. I love you too, Jae. Much, too much.
And he kissed you on your cold lips, turning his back on you once again, and eyes murmuring of sleep. Min, Min, Min. He chanted all over again to his sleep, with no you in his dreams.
You felt something inside you bled, again, and it hurt, yet again. Much, too much.
Hey. You whispered. Look at me. Your tears surged just like yesterdays. I’m here, just here, can’t you see me?
You caressed your tears, imprinting them onto his bare back with your name. YunHo.
YunHo. You caressed more of your tears, writing your name on his pale skin. YunHo.
He stirred in his sleep again, lips murmuring none of your name, chanting frantically. Min, Min, Min.
And once more you wrapped your arms around him, embracing him with your voice whispered, so solemn, and too poignant.
YunHo, YunHo, YunHo. You repeated your name, tattooing into his back, muffled by your tears.
And you chanted his name. Jae, Jae, Jae. Can’t you see me? I’m not him.
