sadly it looks like this race is degenerating into a contest between inexperience and senility.

Don't look like there are any 3rd party wackos worth a vote either.

which would be the first time in nearly 40 years of voting I haven't at least been able to find the lessor of two evils to vote for.

I heard on NPR that the Palin choice was less about wooing Hilary supporters than shoring up McCain's appeal to conservative voters. A lot of conservative women, in particular, feel that Palin is "one of us" and really like her. And her staunch pro-life stance comes as a relief to those conservatives who were worried he might pick the pro-choice Lieberman or the always controversial Rudi Gulliani. Sounds kind of like a one-trick pony to me, but very much aimed at the traditional republican demographic ( ... )

If I'm not mistaken, blueninja1026's Congressperson is Marcy Kaptur. Nothing to worry about there.

Mine is Dennis Kucinich. :-D He voted against the PATRIOT Act.

My Congresspeople run the gambit - Mike Rogers is about as Republican as they come, while Debbie Stabenow is a socialist disguised as a Democrat.

I hated the Patriot act - something about taking away my constitutional rights just rubs me wrong.
