Those are some of the stupidest laws i have ever heard of... seriously... I will fight for my internet freedom!!! *dons mswarpaint and livejournal pencil sword*

It's about as stupid as the scientologist who were trying to ban the SOS (signs of suicide) Prevention Program from being voted on.

the only group of laws that are even anything worse than the two you have here are the updated DMCA laws voted for by our wonderful republican government. right now anything that is helping big business is being passed in congress and its sad that it has to come to people vs big business in order for everyone to see the stupidity behind most of the laws out there right now.

a republican congress and a democratic president might be the best bet. we won't be censoring ourselves for business thanks to the presidential veto, but we also won't be at war.

the only problem right now is that we have a republican congress, house , and president. without any chance for change everything gets voted for.

I was going to mention the DMCA revisions as well, but I only had so much time to update, i'll probably put an edit later.

To say it's the result of a Republican government is bullshit, the Democrats are just as guilty as the Reps, usually moreso because the MPAA rides on them.

Now I can protect my intellectual property from the government.
That, my friends, is DRM.

Thank God that Satan's firey penis will shoot out from the ground and cover the world in steaming hot molten magma semen before any of these acts or laws actually affect me.
