Tully, 10% and sacrificing the innocents

We of the Meany clan have been mightly enjoying the nightly Torchwooding. It's not Doctor Who by any means but it's a nice quick fix. It's got vaguely Quatermass/Sapphire and Steelish for this week.

(note spoiler here now for non brit cousins. Though I imagine Georgie will have seen it by hacking in live to bbc transmissions or whatever it is she ( Read more... )

Huh...that is a truly a good question to ponder! I think it might matter less about the number of children, high or low, and more what losing those children would do to time. If time could handle it, I think they'd consider, but, if on the other hand, these aliens weren't meant to be here, if that would be messing somehow with time, they'd put their foot down. Hard. *shrug*

...either way, can't wait for the fourth part! *bounce*

yeah its a tricky one for Sapphire and Steel, I mean they checked to see if Tully had any dependents before murdering him :) They probably couldnt do the 10 percent because that's going to make too big a difference to the timeline/ the universe (or whatever it is they need to preserve)

we're also going to award geek points to the teenager who drew '456' on her seven year old sister's hand and sent her to my Mum's class today without telling baby sis why she'd done it :)

Um, just wanted to say that it's still downloading so I haven't actually watched them yet, but I hope to by tomorrow. (Except for the fact that I just got a MASSIVE box of McCallum videotapes to transfer to DVD so I might be torn over which to watch...)

One of my sneaky sources for downloading nifty stuff like this is Usenet. It's really nice because unlike a torrent, no one is downloading it from you so it doesn't usurp my limited uploading capabilities.

Well, word of warning Georgie, zzzz I just woke up at 4.30 am having had my first Torchwood nightmare. (my dream filled in the missing blanks about the aliens eeep-) So I think I can pretty much say their new story and broadcast time was a success on me at least. In my dream at least Captain Jack swishy coat went over to the aliens world in a parrallel universe and convinced all the children there to destroy the portal on that side so no more could get taken over. My brain clearly didnt want to wait for final part tommorrow. I'm going back to sleep now zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
