I've been so busy studying and trying to learn as much as I can that I fear I've neglected this journal. I didn't even realize there was a Masquerade, I was so enthralled by a particular text. I am pleased that everyone had a good time at the party, and that you all mostly behaved yourselves.
I'll be seeing some of you in class, I hope!
hello,
sometimes i forget about people,
day 11,
books are so interesting

What was the text? Sounds interesting...

It was a collection of essays by various magical historians from different periods of time. It's called Magical History Through the Ages. I still have it up here, if you'd like to read it?

That sounds really interesting! I'd love to get look at it, if you're done with it?

Oh, Ino, don't worry about it! It was not a problem at all. I really enjoyed my evening. It is not often I sit in bed just reading. I'm glad you are talking and getting along. I assume your evening went well?
I am finished with it for now, and I'd be happy to let you borrow it. Shall we meed in the Common Room sometime this week?

The Masquerade was a lot of fun, I wish you could have made it.
...what were you reading?

I probably would not have gone, even if I'd known about it, but I am pleased so many of you had fun.
I've been reading magical history books in the library, and I found many mentions of Magical History Through the Ages in several of the texts I'd been reading. I decided to send out for it to supplement my reading. It is a very flavorful text, as it is a collection of essays by several of the more flamboyant characters in the magical history field. Some of them are really very humorous. It goes a long way in proving that not all Magical Historians are as dry and boring as they are generally portrayed. I found Horatius Cracklebloom in particular to be quite amusing. If Ino takes me up on my offer to borrow it, you are welcome to look at it with her, or borrow it when she is through, if you'd like.

But I'd definitely like to take a look at it! It sounds fascinating.

Of course, Cracklebloom is only one of many historians who've contributed to this collection, perhaps some of them will be more to your liking. I'll be lending it to Ino sometime this week, feel free to look at it while she has it or after. Just please let me know what you decide, I would hate for it to be lost. It is a first edition, after all.

I would recomment Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, however. It is a fascinating read.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will be sure to check it out on my next trip to the library. Probably sometime tomorrow or later today.

Even I went - you can't skip the next party, all right? I love books as much as the next Ravenclaw, but you need to get out more.

I will go to the next party, I promise. But only if you'll help me decide what to wear. Or... maybe I'll ask Ino for help with that.

Well, whatever you prefer. I might drag you out though, if you don't at least come to the games.
Yeah, probably better to go with Ino. I'll offer an honest opinion, though.

Of course I will go to the games. I would have liked to be on the team, I think, but I did not want it to cut into my study time. Also I don't think I would be any good...
I would be grateful for your opinion. You do know when a girl looks... unflattering to herself.
