Today at work was awful. The patients decided to riot basically. Many of them have been disgruntled for the last few days. Tonight they attacked. At one point I think we had all the staff in the hospital on our floor. We had 4 holds going on at the same time. It was a disaster. Absolute chaos. It all started when I was trying to do recovery group

I'm sorry to hear that you sustained injuries, but I'm also quite glad to hear that you're doing better.

As for that nurse, if I were her supervisor, I'd take disciplinary action against her. It is my professional opinion that we lead by example. Even if you had actually done something that justified yelling, it should have *NEVER* happened in front of the kids.

I agree. I spoke to her about how she shouldn't yell at me in front of the kids. She apologized.
