I'm glad you liked it! I've found myself to be incredibly fascinated by the backstories of the characters we don't know so much about.

Seriously. The whole time with her figuring out ways not to be bored and Clint being all awesomesauce and totally a match for her in every way. I think he would have won that fight, but he saw something really special in her when she started killing off the goons.

I am very glad that you liked it! Thank you for the prompt- I didn't expect to love writing Natasha as much as I did, and probably wouldn't have tried if you hadn't prompted! So thanks!

I wanted to write at the end 'AND THEN THEY GO ON TO HAVE SO MANY AWESOME ADVENTURES TOGETHER AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER THE END' at the end. :)

This is so freaking wonderful!!! AAAH CLINT/NATASHA GIVES ME ALL THE FEELINGS.

I love that they're constantly changing their minds on how to approach one another. I have a feeling their relationship (working and romantic, if you're so inclined) required quite a bit of negotiation before they got to a point where they could trust each other. Or maybe they just knew from the start, what the heck do I know!

With Clint and Natasha, I see two people who've been screwed around and who don't ever want to trust anyone. And then, somehow, this relationship blooms where they're the only one the other really trusts, which forms this amazing bond between them. So I totally agree that there'd be all this negotiation, them testing each other, until they get to where they are in the movie.
