Just got back from seeing Amanda Fucking Palmer in Edinburgh. Man, what a show! I went knowing I'd like it, but not knowing I'd love it and I was totally blown away. My feet are killing me and it's worth it because she played for almost 2 hours and it was just...yeah. Brilliant ( Read more... )

Glad you had a good time cos I certainly did (especially as I got away without you showing me that ruddy SGA pic again which I count as a win).

Please to be writing that fic rather than Brendon/GWBush.

Okay, important thing first - OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD. HOW DID I MISS THAT?!?! :( I found out about her show during my internship, and there were still tickets - can you believe? - but my friend was working and couldn't get it off, and I like Amanda Palmer, but I don't know her stuff well enough to go by myself. :( I would have killed to see that, you lucky, lucky thing.

Oh, ouchie. >.< Okay, so why is everyone on lj seeing FOB these days? Actually, I can live with that. However, if My Chem play Saturday, I may just turn bright emerald and die, okay? (I'm actually seeing Placebo in...December. I should probably listen to the new album before then. *^_^*)

*waves hands wildly* I was raised Catholic! My dad was going to be a priest! (He changed his mind, thank God, but he did all the training.) So I will bug, and if you need any help on any of those issues...just ask! If I don't know, I'll ask my dad. (I'll tell him a friend is writing a book or something.)

Renee, I flailed like a completely fangirl when he came out on stage! He actually came out earlier to give Amanda some more wine, but this massive dude moved in front of me just as he came out so I couldn't see him and oh man, my rage. I was standing there thinking 'if you just made me miss my only chance at seeing Neil, I will end you' at the dude. But luckily he came out again! You know it's your fault that I love Neil so much, right? I never would have started reading him if you hadn't sent me Stardust all those years ago! *huggles* Thank you so much for bringing him into my life ( ... )
