I haven't been feeling well lately. Just not feeling 100%. The weather in Chicago has been pretty crappy lately, so I haven't been able to do much walking and Jeff and I have been so super busy that eating right and getting some exercise has been pretty much non-existent. This has made me feel like crap physically and emotionally. I do not like ( Read more... )

First, I am really sorry about the bad med your dermatologist put you on. That's terrible. I always trust that what my doctor picks for me is the safest, best thing.

Second, I am so, so sorry about your friend Kathy. That is one of my worst fears. I really hope that by some miracle things turn around for her.

I'm glad that the new lawyer guy took you out for coffee. Maybe if he understood that if he treated you with respect in the office, plus helped you to understand your brand new assignment, he would have you in his support network without fail!

Thank goodness for wedding plans. Everything sounds so great.

Thanks sweetie! I don't really blame the dermatologist because the drug he gave me is used for acne but I normally never have bad reactions to meds so this was a first for me. The ER doctor looked at my face and said "you don't even have bad acne!" I said "yes I do" and we proceeded to argue like little kids - it was rather funny. Of course TO ME I have bad acne and to everyone else it's not that big of a deal.

I have often thought about trying to fix my own acne problem, but I have so many other problems, it always goes to the back burner. You have a great attitude about it. I wouldn't be happy if my doctor told me that another doctor I had been to should not have prescribed something-or-other. :)

Ha! All the attorneys were immediately thinking lawsuit! I just have the attitude of "thank God I only took it for a week." Well that and I am not going back to him. I have never had a bad experience with a doctor before so this was a first. I didn't really care for his personality and probably should have not gone back to him after the first visit but I wanted the acne fixed before th wedding (and really, all things considered it's not that bad). Funny thing is, now that I am not dwelling on my skin, it has more or less cleared up on its own.

I'm sorry you had such an AWFUL reaction to that medication! Ouch!! I hope you get the best possible scenario and outcome when you have a fun visit with the gastroenterologist.

I am so sorry about your friend Kathy. :(

I hope the coffee date with the new attorney is a key first step in a new direction!

Happy to hear your excitement about wedding plans! Can't wait to see what your invites look like!

Proud of you for demanding and committing to getting healthy [and finding a way to work it into your life]!

that sucks about your reaction to the medicine, hopefully you will be okay soon. i am right there with you on the gym and working out. we can't really afford a gym membership right now but we probably should make it more of a priority.

I don't like this tummy talk. Eat some peppermints.

But yay for joining a gym though! I always think I should because I can go for like $8 a month...but then something happens where I can't go for a week or two (hurt my ankle, get sick, etc) and I fall off the wagon.

Also, what are you thinking for jewelry? I keep looking at sparkly dangly things and thinking "would kelly like that? would it match my shoes?" lol.

I wish my boss would take me out for coffee to buy my love.

and I'm sorry about your friend. :(

Unfortunately peppermints will not fix what ails me.

I purchased VERY dangly earrings and a super duper blingy bracelet. Get whatever jewelry you like, something to match your shoes :) You know I am sooo not bridezilla about that. If you want, we can go shopping for your jewelry the next time you are here (if your damn dress ever comes in).

I am super excited about the club. Cannot wait to go!

You can wear my sparkly dangly wedding necklace that Kara borrowed for her wedding if you want! Or the earrings that go with it. Let me know. :)
