Utterly unexpected pairing, beautifully written. And I can imagine the two of them coming together that night. Plus Ellen deserved this. I miss her, dammit.

Every bit of this is amazing. And so in character, I feel breathless with it.

I loved your dialogue, I loved your Cas and your Ellen, and I loved them together. Your style is beautiful.

This is just so believable; I can see it being a part behind scenes in the show. Thank you so much for sharing it.

And - God, I am being such a pimp - but if you don't mind my saying so, we would all just love to have you at spnrarepairs. I know anyone who got something like this would just die.

Unfortunately my brain doesn't work that way--I have unfinished fics from four years back on my computer--and this story really just came out of a desire to give Ellen the sendoff she deserved. I just stumbled across this and had to comment. This is absolutely beautiful. I love Castiel like this--I love an inhuman and slightly alien Cas, and I think you've captured that quite well. I also love how ageless he is here, and that though he's not experienced this before, he's in no way naive or innocent, which is how a lot of writers choose to portray him. This whole thing has a very lyrical flow to it, as well, and Ellen is just perfect. I loved this. :D
