Thank you (and the people above) for commenting. It's a helluva situation for both Sam and Dean, and I've been curious about whether they'll give a plausible reason for John hiding The Secret from Sam.

You made me cry. So many people can't see Sam's fear and pain, his constant self doubt. This was very well written, so sad.
