So, I went to see Serenity tonight.

Took myself to a theatre on Ponce where they are also showing The Rocky Horror Picture ShowI picked it over the larger movie theatres in the area because I thought that an theatre with a more "indie" vibe might have a better atmosphere for what looks to be my last new infusion of Joss Whedon's writing and

i totally know what you mean!! that's how i feel/have felt after every production of rent i've seen, and i know that's how i'll feel after each of the 900 times i'll watch the rent movie. sweet, blissful contentment, followed quickly by nostalgia, an immense sense of loss, melancholy, depression. crashing and crying myself to sleep because that euphoria is so temporary, because something i love so much comes so infrequently and can't be sustained and is gone way too soon... see, i'm even crazier and more obsessive than you'll ever be! ;o)
