I've been apartment shopping this week, and it's a good damn thing that my mom's an accountant. We did some calculating and discovered that I would have to live in X apt. with Y rent for Z months before the savings is realized. Sometimes the result was that I'd have to live somewhere for over two years--no no no. I want to be gone in two years
