well, if its any consolation, I can offer you a little knowledge that I have on cats. They cannot be given pain medicine without the possiblity of Brain damage. They do not experience pain in the same ways that we as humans do and have a different neuron make-up, medications that would block pain in the spinal cord for humans would go right up into their little kitty brains and addle them forever ( ... )
