I know politicians that I elected are supposed to reply to your mail, but I'm always surprised when I receive just such a response. Yesterday, I opened a letter from my state senator that said he supported same-sex marriage. He also asked that I direct any and all further correspondence to him via email, as he's trying to "go green." Double
