As some of you may know, my little sister, Sarah, lives in Los Angeles, CA and works as a Special Agent for Customs. She voted for McCain, as did my parents in Alabama; for Prop 2, which will end veal crates, pig gestation crates, and egg laying hens battery cages by 2015; and--I'm only guessing, as this subject will spark a massive, friendship ( Read more... )

Not knowing your sister, I don't know why she would get upset about that email. Of course I have been surprised a bit lately about what people get upset over. I think I have lost touch with the schizaphrenia (spelling) coupled with emotional fear that most people live with. I'm not a cynic. I just believe that many issues, when thought through logically with minimal emotional influence, have an obvious conclusion. Apparently I'm in the minority holding on to that view.

eh. *shrug* my aunt julie's vote cancelled hers out anyway. Time is on our side. Soon all the old people will die off and african-americans will start seeing this as a civil rights issue and we'll be fine. Love will prevail.

I dont think she should get mad about your email either. from all that you've said about her, she does seem to be a Thinking creature and we creatures all think differently. Yay, for the chickens tho.
