Saturday PM took me to see Rusted Root for my [upcoming] birthday. It was lovely. Glad I thought of it. (Note: PM is not the best gift giver. i saw rr open for jewel several years ago ( if i had to guess, it would be in the late 90s. jewel was touring for the spirit album. ) i had never been a huge rr fan, but i'd generally liked the stuff i'd heard.

i must say, they put on one hell of a show . . .
