I like the colour tones you went with for the final version - the whole pic looks better with that cooler wash over it. Now to read the fic! Yay!

Thank you! I am not 100% happy with them. I still feel the color tones are off... But I spent sooo long trying and messing with them, I just didn't know what else to do. Jensen is three different layers of color edits... There is one for his head, one for the body and one for the over pairing of him. Jared only has two, his head and then the overall one.

Though, I do agree with you on cooling them down, made them fit into the picture more.

Also, not bad saying I had to re-create this piece from scratch. It was one of the 5 projects I lost when my hard drive decided to die...

Oh no, really? You must have been spitting feathers! I think the colour tones really look good - the only thing that is slightly off is the lighting on Jared's face is different from Jensen's. Jared has an extra shadow on the right under the chin. But then who's to say there isn't another light behind Jensen causing that? Maniping is a lot harder than most people think and I reckon yo've done a great job.

Oh, I cried. It was gonna cost me $500-$1000 USD to get my files back. If they weren't able to recover them, I was gonna be out $50 no matter what. I wanted them, but not for that kind of money. The hard drive was completely dead. They were gonna have to do a more intense recovery, which is why it was gonna cost so much.

Ya, it is the kind of art I've been doing lately. Sometimes it comes easy, other times it fighting me the whole time. This one was fighting me. I think that the color mesh worked better for Jared in the prompt, but Jensen was way wrong. I figured I would just have to go back and fix him and it would be a done deal... Then my computer crapped out and I had to remake it...

Eh, for the most part, I think it came out alright. I see what you mean by the lighting, that I maybe could have fixed just by moving him a bit and having it match Jensen's more...
