You know, I think you're single-handedly feeding my limp Sam addiction at the moment. There seems to be some sort of drought happening! I also noticed you're even organized enough to have a "limp sam" tag. Oh, to be that organized :)
Well, you already know I love your mixture of hurt/comfort/angst and humor. This bit of dialogue was pure brilliance:
"Guess she realized she hadn’t chosen the handsomest Winchester in all the land to play Snow White," Dean says around a mouthful of food, spraying Sam with spittle and a half-masticated soggy piece of bread.
"I don’t know, she probably thought you were too busy playing all seven of the dwarves," Sam snorts.
I love you so much at the moment for feeding my sick habit. I see you're birthday is coming up, so I'll try and return the favor and write a little something for you :)
I was waiting to read both parts at once, the banter between Dean and the witch in the first part was awesome! So, so Dean. *snerk* Hectate!! *gigglefit*
This part was great, too. Poor Dean. *pets Dean* And poor John. Sometimes people forget that he's a Winchester, too. ;-) And Bobby! \o/ *glee*
I liked that it kind of flowed around the parts from 'While you were sleeping', my favorite part of that section was when Dean realized that this was what she meant when she said she'd strip his life away.
Nice follow up, I hope they catch her! Poor tainted Sam.
What will become of all that demon blood, I wonder .... *evil!grin*
Love John's inability to express his emotions, The awkwardness he seems to feel around Sam. I'd like someone to explore that because I think it comes from the ambiguity of knowing his son's destiny and what he might have to face up to and still loving him deeply. That's bound to rip a man apart.
Ad Sam's geek-witty re-marks! 'Playing all seven dwarfs', ha ha, so Sam.
Beautiful story, can't wait for more! Sam stories seem to have dwindled down lately. *sob*
