Yes, I've been at it again. I got one of those brilliant idea type things at 11 pm the other night. You know the one. Can't sleep until you do something about it. This was the outcome.

Finally got a moment to read this. It's lovely. Ginny would have hated being cooped up at Muriel's.

She really would have. I'm sure she'd have joined in with the bedlam caused by Fred and George, but I also thought, since she's a writer, that she'd need some way to actually voice everything. And it fits that she would have a journal. That isn't possessed by a part of Voldemort's soul.

I agree. I felt she was let down at the end of the series, never really got her chance to shine. I am finding hard to read what I have written =(

I've always felt that you can tell how strong a character Ginny is, but she never really does get much of a voice, so when I can, I love to give her that voice.

This just came really naturally and easy for me.

I found this on the hpgw_otp awards and its sooo great! this is just the way that Ginny would have been feeling during the last book and you're so right that she is not one to sit back and wait. really good job!
