You know...

If there is one person (or more) on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist, and who you would not have met without the Internet, post this sentence in your journalHeh. With the except of maybe a handful of people -- possibly less -- everyone I know, I know because of teh interwebs. Some amazing friendships. ( Read more... )

Yea, pretty cool.

Dave and I were taking Tudor (*the cute one, not the hansome one*) to Good Dog U at the SPCA and on the way down we got to talking how yous are. I said, I don't know for sure but I keep praying for L. Well, both of them, but a lot for L.

I hope and pray all is well.

My new ones are really cool dogs. Henry is the one eyed thinking he is a Rotti; Shih Tzu. But then he gets in this lazy mode and can't get up on the sofa. Very reminisent of Adina's "oh, it was so hard to get up here, don't make me get off."
And Tudor is CUTE. As in "Hey lady, yeah you, I am CUTE and you know it." He sits on the steps and looks at him self in the mirror. Then slyly turns to the side and winks at himself.

(((huge hugs))) You know, I had no idea Adina had passed on. I'm so sorry to hear that. It sucks. It never gets easier. And, heh, you already know that. I'm so, so sorry. She was an amazing girl ( ... )

Thank you, I cry every day. She was amazing, so smart and such a momma's girl. She had Cancer. The vet and us thought she was doing really well and we brought home Henry. Dina let him eat out of her bowl. One day I was screaming about poop, they both had the runs. Adina would normally take off up stairs, she sat in front of him to protect him. She was so brave. I miss her so much.
Two weeks after Henry came home, Adina died. He was so lost and freaked out. Coming from a SC puppy mill, missing an eye didn't know what to do with people. We needed to get him a friend. So Dave and I do things big. A new 8 month old boxer pit.

Other than puppy training, Dave and I are doing ok. Nothing new in Philadelphia.

(((hugs))) I'd like to say that, it'll get better/easier, but I think we're both the sort where, it doesn't. You get used to the yawning, biting, burning whole in your life (even when they're sometimes still around, because it's different, damn it), but it never gets better. *sigh* Sometimes I feel like I'm some sort of freak, because it's going on two years this September, and getting to thinking about it makes me want to curl up and shut the world out. Stupid world; how can it continue on when there's such pain, from missing him so?

I'm glad, though, that the boyos have you. And that they're getting on well. Puppy! You know, three dogs into my life now, and I've never had a puppy. Someday. Someday. Not soon. But I do love the puppies. :)

(((hugs)))
