It's definitely sun poisoning, I think. Try putting cool rags on it and drinking lots of fluids. If you feel really sick or start throwing up or get a fever or anything, go to the hospital. 8< I'm sorry you feel bad bb. /very carefully huggles
Okay I talked to my mom cause she had it once and this was her advice:
-Aloes and stuff might sting like a bitch but they can probably help -Better idea is to put cool rags on it -Take aspirin for the pain -DO NOT take a shower, you'll pass out from the pain and hit your head on the wall (true story, apparently) -If you have blisters, be careful even if they go away, because if you get overheated and start sweating they'll come back, so dress lightly and stay cool -Vinegar. I looked at her like she was crazy but apparently this really does work. You'll stink, though. -Again, if you feel nauseated or excessively lethargic, go to the hospital
Yea.. I took a cold shower. (As cold as water gets in florida) and thats when it hurt the most. I think all the moisture in my skin went out in the water and now it stings every time i put aloe on. I feel sleepy all the time. I threw up twice but Dr said as long as I have no fever I'm ok. Aka: I've not had a fever.
I am very dizzy but I have my step mom who thinks my pain is meaningless. I'm taking Tylenol Benadryl now. Not sure if it's working. I did rub myself but then I realized the skin was comming off and I broke 3 blisters and the skin is attaching to my CLOTHES. It's hard wearing a shirt but I can't go around my house topless...
Thank you to you and your mom. I should have just gone to the hospital when this all first started. I regret it now.
FFFFFFFFF you probably went to bed 8( but I'm worried about you. If you still feel like this tomorrow, please go to the hospital. Also do what Mizu said up there and try not to scratch the burns even if they itch idk.
Ok I just asked my stepdad since I'm over here (since he's a doctor.) He says don't put any more aloe on the burning parts, just try cold compress to cool it down instead, and it should be ok to use aloe in a day or two.
Yea, my skin is cracking. I thought Aloe would be alright but it's not. I feel kinda seasick again. I'm sorry but it hurt so much that when it started to not hurt I kinda passed out/fell asleep. I hope you're not mad.
I'll try to use cold compress, just afraid the towels will stick to my skin.
