Names.

What the odds are of finding two of the best names I've ever heard before on the very same day I could not even begin to calculate.
  • Bumper DeJesus
  • Bunny Crumpacker
To my knowledge they are both their authentic names. One's a photo editor of some description and the other is a writer. I asked Todd if we could name 'our daughter' Bunny (there are no ( Read more... )

since you mentioned Elsie's head... brokenblossom June 7 2008, 16:33:43 UTC
...my Mum just sent me a link to this blog, and it freaked me the hell out! Aiiiieee!! D:

Nevertheless, if I had half decent digipic manipulation skillz, I'm sure I'd be tempted to have a go myself. Despite the fact that it's scary as fuck. Yow.

I always seem to be spotting kerazy names in TV production credits. A Welsh language soapy-drama series I watch has someone working on it who goes by the name of Fizzy Oppé, which always makes me think of 7-Up. And Harry Hill's TV Burp (a sort of surreally satirical clip show review of the previous week's telly) has a crew member of some kind called Cat Fox. Cat Fox! Maybe I'll change my name to Panda Mouse...

I know a Sue Fox, which is awesome enough, but Cat Fox is brilliant, the lucky thing (made up?). I, too, espy many unique names in TV and film credits. I never remember them like you have but they intrigue me just the same.

Those cat ladies are THE BEST. I want to send one in too! And, btw, if you have any you think would work juxtaposed, send me the pics and I'll Photoshop them together if you want. ;)

I think Ceri should be Panda Mouse for sure. I always wanted to name my kids Kitty, Cindy and Coco and prepare them for a life of high class hookerdom from birth.

Who is this Ceri you speak of? Oh, you must mean Panda Mouse. Hey, that's a clever retirement plan. Can Bunny join your stable when she turns 18 and goes backpacking round Europe? We'll make sure she gets one of those youth/working visas. Actually, funny you said Kitty 'cos earlier I was thinking Bunny, Kitty and Patch are cute names. It's from a Redd Kross song.

Well...seeing as I don't want to have kids, then maybe you can have my names. I think that it would be SO unbelievably cool to name kids after a Redd Kross song. How're things going on the kids front anyway? Have I missed any important updates?

You're right - it would. After all, I named my cat after a Rolling Stones song (even though I dislike the Stones very much). No news yet on the kids front, no. We need to ring them and make an appointment. It'd be cool to get a kid* young enough to rename** Bunny, especially if it's a girl.

* We always say "when we 'get a kid'..." We have great fear that we'll drop the phrase to the adoption/foster agency, which would be funny but unproductive.
** We wouldn't rename a child because Todd tells me they're not pets. But Bunny would be. She'd be a rabbit.
