Episode reaction - CSI: Miami

May 09, 2011 21:37

Callum was a guest star on the season 9 finale of CSI: Miami last night. I've not watched Miami for a loooong time, but I put my Horatio squick on hold for 40 minutes to get through it. Here are my reactions ( which are spoilery! )

tv ponderings, fannish, ckr

Can I just say how much I LOVE your recaps? I can't even quote all the parts where you made me giggle.

Birth date: 4/29/71.
O.O I actually missed this!

This episode was indeed a pile of crap with one gem on top. So this was part 1 of at least two, I guess? More Jack Toller to come, yay! :D

Lots of fun reading this! Even though I haven't watched yet (but it's not like I fear to be spoiled for this) - and even haven't ever watched any CSI: Miami that I remember of...

The Incinerator
Callum's bad guy reaches another level!

Jack!Callum running...
stroking his gun...

Yep, Ethan Embry lost his kids. It's all her fault, you know.
I feel I won't be caring much about the subplot. Still is that Ethan an hermaphrodite? Or am I still diverted by the image of Jack stroking his gun?

Jack hides in his seat
Picturing this makes me smirk *tries to hide in her seat* *not easy* *will have to watch and practice*

HE GOT AWAY
\o/ at the nth power!!

This almost never happens to Callum's bad guys!
I guess fresh statistics are needed :D
Maybe it's a new clause in his contracts?

Question of the day: Do we prefer to have Bad Guy of the Week!Callum (BGWC) alive and running free in one episode, or a two-parter where we get to see him twice but where the above mentioned clause is nullified?

Glad you enjoyed the recap. :D If it spares you the pain of actually watching, then YAY, hehehe.

Still is that Ethan an hermaphrodite?

LOL. The subplot only served as a reason for Ethan to lock woman-in-white in a car trunk (which we don't really care about anyway, we're here for the Callum!). Anyway, CSI lady wouldn't back up Ethan's story that Jack Toller threatened him, so his kids got put into foster care because he obviously associates with criminals! Oh the DRAMA! *g*

The gun stroking was good, though. ;)

Do we prefer to have Bad Guy of the Week!Callum (BGWC) alive and running free in one episode

*nods* Oooh yes, I like this part. But then again, seeing him twice is always better. If we can work it into the contract that he end up in handcuffs (yum) and carted off to jail, instead of bullet-riddled? Bonus! I fear bullets will fly when Baldy catches up to Jack, though. *sigh*

:D

I thought I was reading it wrong, too. But no, they are passing him off as a 40 year old. A 6'1" 40 year old at that. Good for Callum. :D

Well, it might be part 1 of 2. They could just *say* they captured him, and it all happens offscreen. :( But I have hope Baldy will want a rematch and it will be played out in glorious technicolor. *g*

I haven't watched yet. Well, except for the first few minutes before the opening credits. Callum looked like he was having fun at least.

I wonder if he'll be back in next season's opener.

I had to restrain myself from fast-forwarding, incase I missed any important bits. :\ Not that it would be too difficult to work out, but hey. *g* And yes, Callum was definitely having a blast with it. :D

I wondered that too, or if it will just be an offscreen 'we caught that bastard' moment. Fingers crossed for more Jack! :)
