I started this ages ago, but forgot about it. I haven't seen episode 22 yet and I'm gonna watch it as a kind of double bill with the finale tomorrow, so I had to finish this and post it first.

This was a great commentary/review! A shame I’m reading it so late. (I didn’t go to LJ a lot during the past 5-6 months - I remember though that I had planned, at the end of last year, to read more of your Merlin commentaries/analyses! I still hope to get around to reading those at some point!) - Plus you wrote it in a quite entertaining way (I chuckled or laughed a number of times), I really enjoyed the read. You made so many valid points here, like all the Dean-Cas issues; I basically agree with every one of your points so don’t see the point in repeating them all
