Woo! technology!

Boy, I have really moved up from getting online with AOL dial-up in the woods. I am now online wirelessly, with high-speed internet access, from my new laptop. I'm very excited about it. And my computer is the most expensive thing I have ever purchased outright. I feel sort of grown-up. Except for living with my parents. One step at a time I ( Read more... )

can't say I have any real suggestions for finding a place to live, but hurrah to that sentiment of feeling almost grown-up except for living with the parents! I'm so in that boat with you. :) I'll pass your query on to a friend who was searching for a place in the Boston area earlier in the year, to see if she has any suggestions for you. But it's nice to have you back on lj, and I'm sorry about Jack but as it seems for the best/sad positive/ erm? then that's that! *rolls eyes at myself and my inability to express myself*

I've gotten the ones about life in Argentina (which sounds awesome and so adventurous!), I just suck at replying to emails. :) I'm not sure if there are any others I've missed, but occassionally MHC doesn't let emails through....for a while, someone using AOL sent a bunch of spam to MHC folks, and no AOL addresses were allowed through.
