Okay, issue #2 is even more awesome than issue #1. Action, plottiness, character development, it’s all there.

First of all, a big YAY! For Giles and how he’s drawn - not freaky and old. It looks like he’s in Eastern Europe, and I really hope Joss makes use of that location. It looks like a huge number of Slayers he’s in charge of. Seems like he’ ( Read more... )

ok... not reading the spoilers.. But I gotta say

Damn you ppl and your ability to buy these comics!! I won't be able to get to the comic store during open hours until Saturday at which point it will prolly be sold out.. and I still don't even have the first issue! =*(

Oh.. but I might be downtown this weekend so maybe I can find a bigger comic shop that might have it... ok.. I feel better now =)

You should ask your comic book store to hold an issue for you. If they aren't at a bigger store, you can always order online.

LOL! I forgot about that line in my own review. Classic, so classic. The scary thing is, there's people who actually think this way.

I didn't see the faceless-Spike-guy as being vaguely threatening at all. Spike would make a good dream guide, I think.

Oh, crap, you don't think dream-Spike is going to kiss Buffy in the dream and wake her up? Because he was ridiculously devoted to her. I hope he doesn't show up in any more dreams.

Oh... damn... that would be a good way to undercut the traditional-ness too.
Part of me is like, "No! Joss said he would use Spike sparingly!" But then, this would be sparingly. And he said when he does use Angel and Spike it's going to be good.

GAH!!! Good God, I hope the true love's kiss isn't from Spike! *fingers crossed*

SQUEE! I loved this issue too. Buffy/Xander love for the win! That made my day! I just want more and more of these stories. I'm waiting until I get about 5 or 6 issues then I'll read them all again in a row to make a more complete story :)

It makes the first issue so much better when you can go on to the next part. I'm looking forward to getting the trade paperbacks too.

I think you may be right. He's the only character I can think of who wouldn't sound stupid saying "my love" too.

I was hoping Season 5 Guy would be Doc, but maybe he's Amy's boyfriend?
