Do you know why this fic is so great?
It's because it makes me smile and gives a reason for Devils interest in Sam.
And, of course, it's really funny!

Thanks! I know a lot of people are thinking Sam might be the Devil's son, but I'm hoping he isn't. I would like it so much more if it was a mere mortal who managed to keep putting the most evil being in the universe in his place. Go humans! :-)

Oh, I love this fic. I just read it and The Plan in Action, and I think they're brilliant.
Sam being the bridge between Heaven and Hell, I really like that idea.
Please say there'll be more :D

Thank you too! I am *really* intrigued by how Sam can work so easily with evil, and not be evil himself. It's such an interesting juxtoposition, and a complete twist on the usual evil fights evil in order to do good (or get redemption) - like Angel or Hellboy.

I'm not sure about yet another sequel at this point. I don't have a complete story in mind pre-hand like I did these last two. I've got individual scenes. Here's hoping one day I might be able to figure out a way to tie them together.

Wow. This was wonderful! I've just now really started getting into the Reaper fandom (especially with how the season ended) and stumbled across this. Even if you don't continue this (and I'd really love it if you would), please write more! This really was fantastic.

And you know, I never really thought about Sam in this light (forgive the pun). I really like it tho. Gives a whole other angle to thing about.

Looking forward to more!

Hey! What timing! I just posted a short futurefic vignette.

Love the pun. It's always great to see readers understand the symbolism I was getting at. Thank you so much for the review and feedback. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

He knows that in life, some rain must fall. Humans must be exposed to challenge, or else life is not worth living. It's only in winning and overcoming odds that we find true happiness and become successful. In fact, Sam probably has a better understanding of the Grand Design than most of the demons I know, let alone the humans."
Hey, Blue, re-reading per TWoP. This is such an amazing concept; I think the first time I read I was more into the drama and the funny, but this Grand Design thing is such a blueprint for the second season, I can totally see how that might play out. Now I'm hoping it goes in this direction. Plus it makes the whole "Who or what are Sam's parents" debate less important than "What is Sam's role" which is infinitely more interesting to me. Lot to think about; thanks.

In Charged, the Devil told Sam "You put a soul back in Hell. How does that feel, huh? Pure unadulterated satisfaction. All the money and tail in the world can't compare." But I can't really take credit for the idea, I actually stole it from Joan of Arcadia. I was kinda afraid that it was too heavy of a concept for the story, but in the end I felt it needed to be put in anyways to explain why Sam doesn't make more of a fuss about the Devil's evilness. Sam lets a lot slide. I think normal humans would go catatonic if they'd seen even a minute amount of what the Devil puts Sam through.

And I'm more interesting in the "What is Sam's role" too. Why the hell does the Devil want him so much???? Or treat him so well???

This was funny as hell (pun intended ;D)!
xD

But seriously, I was freaking hooked. x3
I like how the Devil always has his "fun" with Sam, mainly with the parking ticket for 2 months at the airport.
xDDDD

Thank you! Yes, I agree. I love the Devil when he's more an annoying prick than out and out evil. It really helps that Sam is truly the definition of the word sigh. Makes him such fun to play with!
