1. Early Copy of Gameboard of the Gods
I donated a signed, brand new, hardcover copy of Gameboard to a local Seattle group that's trying to raise money for a boys' field trip. They have the item listed on ebay, and you can bid on it if you're interested. Note that

Who is playing Rose's mother?

Rose's Mother doesn't enter the story until the second book, Frostbite. She will not be in Blood Sisters. :(

OMG I have been so behind with things online that I had no idea there was going to be a movie. I love that it is being called Blood Sisters. As much as I adored the romance, the friendship between Rose and Lissa was what drew me to this series and IMO was the true driving force in every novel. I also love seeing so many faces I recognize in the cast. This is so exciting!

Firstly, sad face that the book being auctioned wasn't for outside US shipping but alas that is life.

Secondly, I totally agree with you about Gabriel Byrne. Amazing actor! I would have fan-girled too. He has the deep intensity and quiet confidence to play such a Janus, and Machiavellian character.

Joely Richardson is also another brilliant acctress, I was very pleased to see her on the list. She will nail the royal air of Tatiana perfectly.
