my life in a nutshell:

• spend every day looking for work
• talk to mark a lot
• brush up on my biochemistry, algebra and medical terminology
• listen to the bats scrabble around behind the paneling
• deal with inner turmoil and various abandonment issues

I've had the same hurt feelings thing when people bail on me (and even worse, then show up at the same event for someone else)
at my first degree initiation, I invited about 20 people... and the only people who showed were the three people officiating. (and that missing group of invited people..? it included other people in my group!!)

I hate that feeling. it sucks.
