Beautiful. Those are some industrious chickens you've got there!

Say...we seem to have come away from camp without the recipe for that amazing pie. Could you, perhaps, share it with me?

I didn't have the recipe, either. Here is one I found.

1 cup honey
3 large eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 pie crusts, made from your favorite recipe. (I like using all butter, no shortening.)

Add all liquid ingredients, and stir well. Then and the nuts and stir. Pour the mixture into one pie crust, and cover with the other one. Bake in a 325-degree oven for 45-50 minutes. Let the pie cool before serving.

I had a perfectly splendid wedge of blueberry pie with lunch today. I'm so with you on the pie.

(Do you need a hand with logging into the blog-thang? Let me know.)
