So I've never even seen this show, but I totally didn't need to. You've brilliantly illustrated all of their characters so clearly, I had immediate senses of who they all are and what makes them tick. And there are so many little observations in here, about life in general, that just ring so, so true. Favorite lines:

this is so good. so, so good. i'm so thirsty for more details about their personal lives on the show. i know that doesn't exactly fit into the l&o canon, i know. but i'm hoping it happens at some point. i haven't watched/don't remember the earliest seasons of plain l&o or svu, but i'm guessing it took a few seasons for them to get into personal stuff as well. sigh. i'll be patient.

you captured ronnie perfectly. love that dude. and how assuming he can appear to victims and suspects. unassuming until he reveals that he figured out their game a long time ago. he's a thinker. he just does his best thinking while he's snacking :)

Alesha smoothes away tension with wry sarcasm, relaxing Ronnie and covering for James like the brilliant multi-tasker she’s always been, but looks a bit tired when Matt finally catches her eye. She’s been sleeping as well as he has most likely. There’s a smile for him though, a quick commiseration

LOL,thank you so much for reading this! I lucked out with my assignment this year, I was watching series 4 so I was really excited to write these characters. I love Ronnie too, I think that gets lost sometimes in my Matt/Alesha love. :) I do think Matt is crazy jealous of James and doesn't like him much because of how Alesha feels about him.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and commenting on this, it's such a small fandom that I never really expect feedback when I post stuff for it. So this means a lot, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one obsessed with this show right now.

it's easy for anything to get lost behind matt/alesha love :) i've watched the finale of s4 now. not ashamed to admit i misted up a little. the dynamic duo is over! i feel a little lost. the one upside is that maybe we'll get more straightforward matt/alesha-ness now. but knowing this show, maybe not.
