I love #10; that one is abslutely beautiful. 15 is fantastic too, I adore unusual cropping.

Took 13, 18 -- if only the season 4 China eps could have been written as well as they were designed -- and 14! I'd almost (but not quite) forgotten about that! I forget who I saw Spiderman in the theater with. All I remember is whispering excitedly as Bruce, Ted and Lucy showed up one by one. My companion/s was/were like, Yeah, that's nice, now be quiet. :D

Yeah, Back in the Bottle and Purity were horrible. They completely butchered the Lao Ma story line too! What was it Rob said about Season 5?

...At least Gabrielle became infinitely more interesting to look at. And I feel her character deepened even more than it had in s4, especially regarding where to draw the line with necessary violence. I've got some faves in s5, but yeah, it's awfully hit-and-miss sometimes.

I absolutely agree with you about Gabrielle's path through season 4 and her peacenick phase, only to come out on the other side and choose The Way of Friendship.

Season 5 Gabrielle is my favourite "look" for Gabby. The short hair, the outfit. So perfect and it really showed her transition into a warrior.
The only bad thing was she accepted the role without introspection throughout the season. Well, except for Seeds of Faith (one of my fav. s5 eps).
Then in Season 6, it's was suddenly like, oh wait, Gabrielle shouldn't be a tough warrior without thinking about it! So we got Who's Gurkhan, The Abyss, To Helicon and Back. Episodes where the violence really got to her and mader her question her own path, again.

I guess her warrior-self in season 5 was just a response to Xena's pregnancy though. She needed to protect Xena and Eve. So season 5 overall, I agree, some good episodes, but a lot of hits-and-misses.
