I've been enjoying a few langorous days post-finals-stress, before I depart for the holidays in PA.

Beautiful things that are making me happy:

1) Calling my mom tonight, serendipitously during the last 30 minutes of the Steelers-Ravens game, having her give me a play-by-play from their television, and cheering together when they won.

Hey PeteF from the PPk here. Just came across your journal and noticed that you mention Sarah Records - The Field Mice were great. Have you heard of a band on the label called The Orchids? Most of their stuff is naff, but they have an album called 'Lyceum' that is beautiful.
