I'm sad to have missed Jin's bday, but made it for KinKi's 15th anniversary instead which is quite fitting considering the events between them in this chapter ^^

I felt nostalgic knowing that it's already the last chapter! BUt at the same time, i'm excited! and i understood that all things are transient or transitory...but this fic will leave a great mark on the hearts of many akame fans! this is an epic!!!!!! i know it's not yet the end coz ending in his care will only mark the beginning of another fanfic that's better! This is the first akame fanfic that i have ever read and without this, i think i will not be engaged in akame fandom! thank you so much! hope u are still up to more and better fics~! akame love be with you, always and forever! :)) T.T

I am just...amazed at your dedication and also grateful that you've seen this fic through to the end when I'm sure there were plenty of times along the way when other things (like real life) would have gotten in the way of your writing. I stumbled upon In His Care a couple of years back I think, but I was out of touch with fandom for most of last year due to school and since I've returned I've kind of gotten in the habit of not reading multi-chaps until they were complete. That being said, I think I was maybe three-quarters through the story when I last read it and it's definitely been a while so I'm going to start all the way from the beginning. It'll probably take me some time, and I'm leaving for a holiday soon, but I promise to come back and leave a proper comment when I've finished it. (:

Real life sometimes took up too much of my writing time and I feel so bad for the few updates. Particularly the further into the fic I got the longer it took me to update mostly because I had the first dozen chapters in beginning pretty much written before ever starting to post and because the chapters got longer and longer. Only the very end has been written since before posting.
