Have you read the books? Because I believe it's the rest of the series that's causing the Christian groups to get all bent out of shape.

I havent read the books, but I know that the last book is what has the Christian groups' collective knickers in a twist. :)

Oh I know that the children (I'm assuming Lyra and Roger) are supposed to kill (a?) God in the last book/movie, buuuut I still think people may be reading too much into it AS WELL AS reading out of context. *shrug!* I'll be watching them all and reading the books regardless. :)
