So cinderella81 mentioned Blood Ties had started airing on Lifetime. I think I'd heard something vaguely to this effect was in the works, but it was a while ago and filtered around with the rest of the informational soup in my mind until it slid off to the massively untagged mental section of my brain labeled 'other'. Oh, I totally forgot to mention the change in Henry's profession in my review. You're right: what a copout! DEFINITELY not as funny.

And I knew about the Tony-lessness, but it still makes me sad.

Yes, this series of books rocks! I was surprised when I stumbled across it on the air.

I noticed that a lot of what you have in your tags is either filmed in Canada (SG1, SGA, Blood Ties, BSG)or the novels are set in Canada (Bones, Blood Ties). Are you Canadian too?

No, northwest Ohio, actually! Originally from southeast Ohio, aka Appalachia, no less. Fandom has been wonderful for discovering new shows (and therefore characters and universes) that I wouldn't have known about otherwise (especially Due South, Merlin, and Doctor Who which don't really air here at all). Bones is the only one I would have been likely to see although the others air on SciFi, of course (we don't have cable, though, so I probably wouldn't have seen them, let alone been lured in).

I really liked what they did with the show and I'm glad that we had a season at least.

I'm from Southwestern Ontario, near Lake Erie. In the vasteness of the internet world, we're practically neighbours.
