Thank you! :D I really didn't mean to write this much out but it still didn't shake everything loose, so I may have to try writing a longer, cleaned up version. We'll see if I can manage it. I could still use allll the counselor!Sam fics though!

I'd love to see this squared off and officially made into fic. I'm still linking people here though, because I love this! Counselor!Sam is excellent. I love how they made him a veteran working with veterans and taking no orders, yet when 'Captain America needs my help' off he goes because 'I do what he does, just slower'. Sam is a brilliant example of what soldiers are today I think, all the trying to do the right thing and where that gets them and still so many of them being good people. Mix with a Hydra infiltrated SHIELD, add a soldier from WW2, and a winter soldier product of making soldiers into puppets, and stir ;)

This is awesome. Totally beautiful and perfect. I like the realism and yet the touches of hope that maybe Bucky can start to heal.
