Stock dogs...

Saturday I drove out Smoky Lake to attend a clinic on training stock dogs. I was sort of excited for this event, because I am a major dog fanatic, and had never seen anything like it. The drive there was beautiful; the road was good and the autumn colours were magnificent

How cool! I looked him up, he really does seem like he has a gift.

It is really interesting to see a dog's herding instincts come out: sometimes its like Pearl just can't help herself. I wish I were as patient with her so I could train her better, but she is one strong willed puppy dog.
