Heh. Now I'm imagining the swamp benders emailing and blogging with, like, smartphones, while wearing their leaf hats. It would be too much trouble to wire the swamp, so they'd just get portable devices.

I've always wondered what Mai was doing while Ty Lee played chi-blocking with the warriors. I love this idea. In fact, this is my new head-canon.
