I've heard that the two main man made objects one can see and identify from space include a casino in Vegas and the great wall in China. That was years ago so I've forgotten the specifics. But I always found that possibility amusing. I've never been to either- but will be changing that with time.

Wow, great picture. I know I'm not the only one who has a love-hate relationship with Las Vegas. There's something disgusting about it, so cheap, so tacky, all the glitter. And on the other hand, it's like nothing else. Hoeher, schneller, weiter... bigger, better, more exiting... It's always worth a trip in the end. Like entering the twilight zone, where nothing is real.

I was in Vegas last July ('06) for an education conference. We stayed at Harrah's and the conference itself was at the Riviera. I won a little money at the Bellagio, so that was fun. We got caught in a thunderstorm walking down the Strip one night. That was actually fun too.

I've stayed at the Luxor twice too! :)

The first time - we married in Vegas at the little White Chapel.

I love Vegas!

There definetely is no where else like it!
