This just made me wonder... is it supposed to include games that these adults buy for their children? If yes, I'm surprised it's not way more than 64 %. And if not, I'd like to know how they came up with that particular number & how do they actually know who's going to play with it, father or son, regardless of who pays for it?! :)

The statistic certainly makes sense for that reason. Another reason for it is that a lot of adults (like me) grew up playing video games. As the gaming systems "grew up," our love for gaming grew right along with them. That's why there are so many video games out there rated M. More adults are playing than ever before, and they don't want to play kiddie games.
