Haha, someone else who hated Mists of Avalon! I liked it when I read it the first time, but then again I was in something of a pagan-power fuck-the-patriarchy phase in late middle school at the time. Now I cringe just remembering it. (Both the phase and the book.) Most neo-pagan revisionist historical fiction and history really hits a nerve in my anger factor, dunno why.
