Howdy, peeps! It's Monday, President's Day, so of course that means we're expecting a snowstorm. This day is cursed! So many storms on President's Days since we've moved here. Totes! I was so torn over which quotes to use from "Say Anything" and "Clerks" but "Joy Luck Club" -- that was my favorite part. That's my guarantee for a good cry movie. I remember the first time I saw it, my parents had rented it and watched it while my brother and I were out, so he and I watched it in the middle of the day the next day. I started crying from the opening line. My mom comes into the living room halfway through and glances at us, and we're both sitting there, tears dripping down our faces, and she said, "Did I sleep through this movie? I don't remember it being sad."

That's totally one of my Desert Island movies. So awesome!!!! And we saw a preview for their alien movie coming out next month while we were watching TV tonight. The preview certainly made me snort my tea!

Yes! That was the one! I went to see that in the theater w/ a couple of friends who were really into puns, and we laughed loudly and obnoxiously, I'm sure, throughout the whole thing.

I'm impressed someone got #6! My brother and I went to see that in the old-fashioned theater on our main street when it came out -- it was us, and a handful of middle-aged couples (we were in high school at the time). We thought it was hysterical and snort-laughed through it. Everyone else was much too civilized. :D

(And you are of course right on all other points, too.)
