SNOW! AND PUPPIES! AND A WARM, DRY CAT!

Jan 26, 2011 21:12

We're getting the "biggest storm of the year" right now, folks! I just took Piper out in it about half an hour ago -- I'd say 4 or 5 inches? I'm horrible at telling that sort of thing. It was halfway up my shins. And it was really, really wet and heavy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the federal government closes tomorrow, b/c I have ( Read more... )

We switched this time -- you got all the snow a week or so ago, and we got some ice. Now we're getting the snow! Have to take the dogs out soon for pre-bed walk. I think we'll tag-team it.

56 here today

OH HAI BLUE! And Piper the snow shovel! Milo the lazy, and Willow the Queen. :)

I cannot imagine that much snow. I KNOW! Sad huh! I need to ship Maddox and Shelby to you for a weekend so they can play in that stuff. Poor deprived huskies.

Piper would freak the hell out if big dogs came for a visit. Milo would be ecstatic to make new friends. B/c of course they would want to love him! He's Mr. Handsome!

Oooh, we just had another power flicker, c!!!!!

The snow here in MA hasn't let up once this month, and it's too cold for any to melt. We have four-foot high mounds along the sides of the roads where it just keeps piling after people shovel and plow. And we're due for another 8 inches tonight. *headdesk*

Also, d'awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Your animals are all adorable!! :D

And OMG IS IT FRIDAY YET??????????????

Yeah, my mom's a teacher in NH, and she's getting heartily sick of the snow days. The first two are always welcome, but then it gets later and later in June that they have to stay in school and she's all -- blechhhhh.

The animals thank you for the compliment!

Dude, I've been soaking up all the spoilers! I can't resist them! I won't talk about them here, in case anyone is averse to spoilers, but I CANNOT WAIT FOR FRIDAY TO HAUL ITS ASS HERE!!!!

I'm about to go out in it again. Piper's getting old, she needs extra walks. It's almost time for their regularly-scheduled bedtime walk.

We are so lucky to not have that to deal with aren't we. :)

(of course, we have the heat, but in the winter it is easily forgotten, huh!)

We already have a foot on the ground, and up to five feet in the plow-drifts; I'm hoping this latest storm gives us a miss.

But your animals look mighty cozy indoors. Oh poor Piper, needing the extra walkies in all of that!

Are you kidding? Piper LOVES the extra walkies. She loves bursting through snow drifts. Milo likes to be carried, but Piper? She is adventure dog. After things are shoveled and there is salt on the ground, she will hate it. They both HATE salt. Understandably.

I hope you don't get walloped w/ this storm, too!!
