Turkey Madness, Cute Doggies and Kitty, and Art Project

Hodge-podge of crap today, peeps. First, I have been craving the turkey my aunt made for Thanksgiving since ... well, Thanksgiving. So I decided to make it. It did not turn out quite as well as my aunt's. Still okay, but not the awesomeness I was desiring. Second, my kids are adorable. Fawn over them!

I have a lot of postcards from old job, from all over. Not that many, but I miss looking at them. Pics when the project is done? Yes yes?

Also--yeah, gotta watch those turkeys. Oven temps vary too, but you can always turn the turkey into my mom's old favorite standby, which is the weirdest recipe ever. White sauce (yes, white sauce), turkey cubed up, broccoli, over toast. Do not ask me why, but it is awesome. LOL. And something I haven't had in years.

Dude. What is in said white sauce? That recipe sounds carb-oriffic, but yummy.

I will mos def show pics when this is done! It will include a couple C & Nick cards!

NEVER trust a recipe. NEVER trust the time it says it takes to cook anything. I am constantly checking my oven when I am cooking a new recipe. Turkey is nice when it's served cold, on a sandwich, or in a salad. The condiments hide any dryness. Good for you for trying out a new, albeit, a very long process in the making recipe.

Your kiddies are so cute. Willow is taking up all the room so that she doesn't have to share.

My son has recently acquired a maine coon cross kitty kat. The cat is 2 years old and was rescued from an animal shelter, only to not get on with the other household pets of a friend of mine. One of those, a Ragdoll kitten, name of Willow. Willow is a devil kitty. *g* Son is in the process of finding the cat hiding under the bed, not to be seen till after dark. I told him it's early days yet. However, the cat does cuddle up in bed at night, keeping son awake all night with her loud purrs. Pets are awesome.

Turkey sandwiches are on the menu for Thursday. I have cheesy garlic bread, as I'm not a big sandwich fan and I have to switch it up if I'm planning to eat one.

Awww, sweet kitty! And yay for adopting from a shelter!! My cat sleeps w/ M, but when she's away, Willow curls up behind my knees and purrs all night. The dogs get jealous, but if they don't want to share the bed, they have perfectly nice dog beds they also love.
