Our Christmas Eve jammies were from Mama, my paternal grandmother, who had 25+ grandkids (Dad was the oldest of 6) and she made ALL of us jams every year. She's buy a couple of bolts of a girly print and a couple of bolts of a boy print and then make them up in all sorts of patterns: gowns long and short, night shirts, actual PJs...We used to have Thanksgiving at the beach house and there would be, oh, a dozen or more kids sleeping in the loft...all wearing our matching prints from the Christmas before or hand me downs from earlier years.

Also, I, uh, did buy the ones I found that had flying unicorns on them. They're little unicorns! That makes them more tasteful!

Flying unicorns that you buy for yourself are perfectly acceptable. A pink poodle that says "I love to shop" when you, in fact, hate shopping, is not. Though, you know, you mentioned unicorns and I just have to post -- it's a knee-jerk reaction, okay!

We used to have sacks where Santa would put our presents in, we only stopped doing it two years ago because we were getting older. Still I used to love seeing how full my Christmas sack was on Christmas morning.
