Entertainment Weekly has some pics in tomorrow's issue from HBO's production of "A Game of Thrones," the adaptation of the first book in George R.R. Martin's fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire. I love this series so damn much! The last book, which came out, oh, five?

Dude, you don't get Hot Pie until the second book, right? They have to finish filming this puppy and air it. THEN we can get some Hot Pie! :D (Or am i misremembering when he comes into the story?)

LOL. I approve of Hot Pie! Check out the cast. Daenyrys--she is the most exotic and 'fantasy'ish of them all, but it fits for her role. OMG BLUE!!! We are gonna LOVE this. ZOMG. Want. Now.

Think I will take a break from watching shows tomorrow and go back to my relisten. :)

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Yay! Someone posted this link on my Twitter feed yesterday and I was squealing about it for a good 10 minutes!! :)

I can't seem to be able to forgot the end of the first book, the first time I read I was such a wreck for weeks! And very distrustful of books for a while *g*

I know I read the first book already knowing what happened at the end, but it was the Red Wedding in the third book that I think I've only been able to read once, and I've read these books several times. That event slayed me! OMG.

Haha, thanks Blue, this was totes for my birthday! God, I can't wait for this so hard, it looks so fantastic. All the detail! I like Jaime - check out that jawline, that's my boy. And Tyrion! Dany's hair looks a bit dodge though. Hmm.

Happy Birthday Rob!! I hope it was a good one. Yeah, her hair...Blue pointed out to me that they did have very light-colored hair and I guess it really does set them apart (omg, I cannot WAIT to see the scene where her brother ____ I guess we should not have spoilers?)

In any case, ME TOO! I have read them all, listened to them all once, listening to them AGAIN. And every time I see a pic of GRRM I growl at him, because the series isn't done yet and he is no healthy spring chicken, omg.

And yeah, she has that colour hair in the books, I'm just not quite sure the dye job looks right on the actress. IDK, maybe it will look better on screen. It's not gonna OMG RUIN it for me or anything.

What is this book? It sounds very interesting but I have never heard of it. It sounds like something I would enjoy.

It's this doorstop fantasy series. There are four books done in it out of a projected seven. The last one came out five years ago, so the author is rather slow. Anyhow, it's a political drama with undertones of magic, horror and romance. There's war and intrigue and family infighting and 80 bajillion people die. But it's amazingly wonderful!
